Further proof that West Coasters get all the good stuff. While Epcot gets these uninspired, sparsely-sequined ears, Disney California Adventure gets THESE:
The ears feature a navy velvet-trimmed interior and copious sequins on the ears. The hot pink bow follows that cute, puffy style that’s sure to stand out more, and if you look closely at the satin fabric…
It features tons of classic attractions! We spotted Maleficent from Fantasmic!, It’s a Small World, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, the Mark Twain Riverboat, the Matterhorn, the Disneyland Railroad, the Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party teacups, and the Partners statue! There are also smaller icons like tiny Dole Whips embedded in the pattern as well.
These were spotted at the entrance to Disney California Adventure, with another pair available at Main Street’s Emporium store. They retail for $27.99, which is the average going price for ears these days, unless you want to splurge on the Plumeria Ears from The Tropical Hideaway. (Treat yo’ self!)
The fun part about these is, much like Dooneys, depending on the cut of fabric you’re getting in the bow, you can pick which pair of ears has the pattern that shows off your favorite attraction the most! Each ear is somewhat unique in that sense.
Would you add these sparkly ears to your collection?
